In 2025, BMAG Meter, in strategic partnership with a premier Malawian infrastructure firm, was awarded the contract for the R**** Water and Sanitation Services Improvement Project. This high-priority initiative, funded by the African Development Fund (ADF) and managed by the Northern Region Water Board (NRWB), aims to modernize Malawi’s utility landscape by drastically reducing Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and ensuring the financial sustainability of the region’s water supply.

The NRWB required a solution that could bypass local intermediaries and provide “tier-one” manufacturing quality capable of a 7-year functional lifespan under these stressors.

- Triple-Filtration Technology: To combat particulates in the R****** water supply, BMAG implemented a unique system including dual internal strainers and an external Y-strainer to protect the high-sensitivity piston.
- Anti-Tamper Security: With IP68 waterproof protection and specialized dismantling kits, our hardware ensures billing integrity and prevents unauthorized interference.
