The BMAG Stainless Ultrasonic Bulk Water Meter DN80 is a stainless-steel, flange-ended, dual-channel ultrasonic flow meter engineered for district metering areas (DMA), industrial water intake lines, and utility bulk billing. With no moving parts, an IP68-sealed body, and a wide R250 measuring range, it delivers billing-grade accuracy in raw, potable, and reclaimed water — and pairs natively with LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, M-Bus, or RS485 AMR systems, so utilities and OEM system integrators can drop it straight into an existing smart-metering deployment.

- Dual-Channel Ultrasonic Measurement: Two independent channels cross-verify every reading. If one channel is blocked by debris or air, the meter still delivers a valid reading — no unplanned downtime for a DMA billing cycle.
- Stainless-Steel Body with Flanged Ends: Corrosion-resistant SS body with standard DN80 PN16 flanges — drops into existing utility pipework without adapters, and stands up to raw and reclaimed water long-term.
- No Moving Parts, No Wear: Full-bore ultrasonic path means zero mechanical wear, negligible pressure loss (≤ 0.025 MPa), and stable accuracy over the meter’s 10+ year service life.
- Wide Dynamic Range R250 (R400 available) : Accurate metering from very low leakage-detection flows up to peak DN80 demand — ideal for night-flow analysis in leak detection programs.
- IP68 Fully Submersible: The meter head and transducer housings are sealed against water ingress. Deploy in flooded pits, vaults, or below-grade chambers without an added enclosure.
- 10-Year Battery Life: Built-in DC 3.6 V lithium battery keeps the meter running for the full billing lifecycle — no field battery swaps between MID recertifications.
- AMR/AMI-Ready Communication: Choose from RS485 Modbus, M-Bus, pulse output, LoRaWAN, or NB-IoT at the order stage. External antenna included for buried installations.
- Reverse Flow Detection: Bidirectional measurement with separate forward and reverse totalizers — supports interconnection points where flow direction alternates.
- Onboard Data Logging: Stores 2 years of daily consumption plus 24 monthly totals, so audit and dispute resolution do not require an always-on connection.
- Low Straight-Pipe Requirement (U0/D0) : Installs in constrained chambers where a mechanical meter cannot meet its straight-run requirement.
