What is a Water Meter Box？
Water meter boxes provide protective enclosures for water meters and related pipelines, and are usually found along the roadside or near sidewalks around houses. The materials are divided into concrete, metal or plastic, which is convenient for reading and maintaining the water meter.
What is the Purpose of the Meter Box?
The water meter protection box’s function is to offer comprehensive protection for the water meter against hazards that could compromise its accuracy or lifespan. It shields the meter from adverse weather conditions (like freezing, heat, and moisture), deters vandalism (such as tampering or theft), and provides a barrier against accidental physical damage, all to ensure the water meter remains accurate, functional, and durable.
