Automatic Water Meter Test Bench Feature

The Automatic Water Meter Test Bench complies with the requirements outlined in AWWA / ISO 4064, the National Measurement Verification Regulation for Drinking Cold Water Meters, enabling verification of all specified items. It also meets the standards of the latest water meter verification device regulation (AWWA / ISO 4064).

Expanded Uncertainty of the Device: ≤0.2% (k=2), by the verification requirements for cold water meters as specified in AWWA / ISO 4064.

Applicable Medium: Clean drinking cold water; Verification Method: Suitable for conventional and rapid verification.

During the verification process, while one row of meters is being tested, the other row can be used for installation, removal, venting, and pressure testing, thereby enhancing testing efficiency. Upon completion of testing, the sampling system is slid to the next row via a cylinder rail, initiating the next round of verification in a continuous cycle.

Standard Equipment Configuration:

The setup includes two high-precision stainless steel electronic scales: one with a capacity of 150 kg and a display resolution of 5 g (3000e or higher), and another with a capacity of 15 kg and a display resolution of 2 g (7500e or higher). These scales meet verification requirements and can accommodate weights for calibration during operation.

Weighing Containers: One each of 150L and 15L containers made from 304 stainless steel, equipped with two bottom valves. The containers feature an automatic drainage function when the water level exceeds the limit.

Water Meter Reading Method: The Automatic Water Meter Test Bench Q3 meter utilizes a proprietary dynamic image collector for high-speed automatic photography combined with a trailing pointer. The Q2 and Q1 meters employ sensitive collection. The system automatically focuses without manual adjustment and includes 10 units. For certain special meters that cannot be sampled, the software allows for manual start-stop operations, with the computer automatically calculating errors without affecting normal device operation. The dynamic image processor can simultaneously read both the water meter pointer and the sensitive pointer, significantly reducing the water consumption at the boundary of small flows, thereby greatly improving verification efficiency. Images captured during sampling are stored as raw records on the computer for traceability.

Electromechanical Conversion Check Function: The device has a functionality to check electromechanical conversion.

Pressure Testing: The control software allows for customizable pressure testing values, applying pressure smoothly and automatically, with a maximum pressure not exceeding 2.0 MPa. Pressure testing is fully automated, controlled by pressure sensors, with automatic pressure limiting protection and a built-in pressure relief feature.

Type of Switch: The device employs an open pneumatic switch for water flow switching and includes a photoelectric verification interface for easy switch verification.

Real-Time Pressure Monitoring: High-precision pressure sensors with a range of 0-2.5 MPa and an accuracy of ≤0.2% (certified by provincial-level measurement verification departments) are utilized.

Real-Time Temperature Monitoring: High-precision temperature sensors with a range of 0-50°C and an accuracy of ≤0.2% (certified by provincial-level measurement verification departments) are employed.

Water Meter Number Input Method: The dynamic image collector automatically inputs the meter number without the need for a barcode scanner (which supports both barcodes and QR codes).

Computer Software: The software features a clear and user-friendly interface, operates on the Windows 10 platform, and includes functions for data storage and backup, raw record and certificate printing, as well as statistical analysis. Lifetime free software upgrades are provided.
