Ultrasonic water meter is a new type of water meter that measures water flow based on ultrasonic technology.
Ultrasonic water meter has the characteristics of low starting flow, wide range ratio, high measurement accuracy, stable operation, and no moving parts inside, so it is not affected by impurities in the water and has a long service life.
The core components of ultrasonic water meter include ultrasonic transducers (transmitter and receiver), which are usually installed on both sides of the pipe, located upstream and downstream of the water flow.
When the water flows through, the transmitter will emit ultrasonic signals into the water. When these signals propagate in the water and encounter obstacles (such as pipe walls), they will be reflected back and received by the receiver.
By measuring the time difference between the transmitted and received signals, the speed of the water flow can be calculated.
The ultrasonic water meter has the advantages of high precision, non-contact measurement and long life, making it an important technology in the field of modern water metering.
